About Us

Hello and welcome! I'm Steve George, the founder of Adoptive Threads. As an adoptee from Vietnam, I love connecting with others and supporting our community.

My life began toward the end of the Vietnam War as a baby in Can Tho, Vietnam at Providence Orphanage, and continued at Hy Vong Orphanage Saigon in the ICU. I was adopted at 5-6 months old into a loving family in Laramie, Wyoming with my mom, dad, and two sisters (biologically related to my parents).

The journey carries on today as I've revisited my orphanage in Vietnam, where it all began, reflecting on the paths I've taken. I've seen fellow adoptees encounter similar crossroads in life, forging connections through shared challenges and experiences.

I hope this project can support adoptees and raise awareness for organizations. I also empathize with orphans globally, so these T-shirts will aid in providing necessary supplies for their care.
