This limited-edition remembrance t-shirt commemorates the lives changed forever by Operation Babylift and supports adoptees still impacted by its legacy. In 1975, Operation Babylift became a powerful symbol of hope during the final days of the Vietnam War, as over 3,000 orphaned and displaced Vietnamese children were airlifted to safety—beginning new lives in places including Australia, France, Germany, Canada, and the United States.
Fifty years later, we honor and remember the 138 people (including 78 children) who were killed in a C-5A cargo plane crash while taking off from Tan Son Nhut Airport on April 4th, 1975.
100% of the proceeds will go toward maintaining and enhancing the memorial altar, where adoptees, veterans, friends, and family can visit for generations to come. A piece of the original plane remains in the ground at this location, beneath the altar.
